Rotary Club of Canterbury is located in Victoria Australia. Our members are female and male aged 25 years or greater who enjoy combining community service and having fun together. We meet weekly on a Monday night for dinner 6:00pm at Bass Care Centre, 2 Rochester Rd, Canterbury. Check out our meeting calendar on our home page.
The Rotary Club of Canterbury have been serving our Local & international communities since 1987. We have an active social and project program. Our members love being part of our Club and enjoy participating in all our activities.
Rotary's main aim is giving to the community, in the workplace, and supporting those in need in our home country and throughout the world. The magic of Rotary is that it allows ordinary people to achieve the most extraordinary things. By using the powerful synergy of one, people unite to achieve exceptional global change. Many ordinary member of Rotary have developed projects that brought significant change to the world.We participate in local and international projects such as Hosting Rotary Group Study Exchange teams from other countries, travelling to Philippines to screen locals for cataracts and other Eye conditions, Sponsoring local community health education, helping our mates in country Victoria. Rotary funds great programs that you can apply to be part of at zero or minimal cost to you: Youth Exchange (17 yrs); Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (18-25); Model United Nations Assembly (17-18yrs); National Youth Science Forum in Canberra; Rotaract (18-30Yrs); Group Study Exchange (25-35 yrs); Peace Scholar - Many more, contact us for more info info@canterburyrotary.org

How can you be involved?

As a member of the Rotary Club of Canterbury, you become more involved in the local community and you get involved in providing aid to other parts of Australia and the world. This is the essence of what the club and Rotary International offers to you, the opportunity to be involved, and this is the key to getting the most out of membership. New members are always welcome - we seek community members who want to make a difference in their community, locally and globally.
