Port Fairy Weekend - July
Nearly 30 Club Members and friends had a fabulous weekend at Port Fairy. The weekend included: Company of wonderful friends; Relaxing at the picturesque Victorian holiday town; Eating great seafood, Strolling through the art and Craft shops in the town; Invigorating walks along the foreshore and around the island and of course drinking wonderful wines and hot chocolate in front of an open fire. Ahhhhhh.... The social life in Rotary is good.....
Christmas dinner celebrations - December
Happy Holidays! What a fantastic night we all had. Our Christmas breakup dinner meeting was just a really fun night. Great music and vocals by Mezz Coleman, assisted us in singing carols like no one else could possibly do. Great food, interesting and fun conversation and Christmas Fairies. What a Night!

What was behind the red ball that Bill was holding – Clue, see the photo of Fiona with the red G string. Bill! You wouldn’t, you couldn’t, you didn’t, YOU DID! Oh no! I now have a picture in my head I really didn’t need.
Val you did a fantastic job as the Kris Kringle MC. The bidding for exchange of amazing, ugly, unique, valuable, undrinkable, beautiful or downright useless Kris Kringle presents was really brilliant, and one of the most fun Christmas things I’ve ever experienced. And indeed raised some serious funds for the local Salvos.
Did the President REALLY prance around the room like Rudolph the Red nosed Reindeer – red flashing nose included? You Bet! It’s the crazy season and I just have to be part of it!
Many thanks to all who helped make last Monday happen. Thanks to all the members who attended and participated in the Kris Kringle exchange. A really fun night and without question a confirmation of our Club’s relaxed and fun culture – Congratulations everyone.

Melbourne Cup Eve - Canterbury Gallops
What a fantastic Race night at the Canterbury Gallops on Monday night. Opening with Champagne on arrival, Club Members and guests really got into the spirit of the night, with many, especially the ladies, arriving in gorgeous outfits, hats and facinators. John and David – you guys did a superb job introducing the field and calling the Canterbury Cup race. John managed the race call of his career and the riders all brought their thoroughbreds home in real Canterbury style. Congratulations to 1st Place getter Bill, 2nd to Richard and 3rd place went to Doug.
Trevor and David auctioned the real Cup horses to the highest bidders with some truly spirited bidding happening. Thanks to Alan, John, Trevor, David and all the Club Service Team for arranging such a fun night. I Hope you all “Stayed in the Money”.
