No meeting this week due to the Kings Birthday holiday so what else is news? Not much really - It's changeover season so lots of those coming up. Have you booked in for ours on July 1st? Get in early or you might be disappointed! - details included in the bulletin You may or may not remember but the Regionalisation pilot starts on July 1. Not much change for the clubs directly at this early stage. Instead of a cluster of 4 clubs which we have had over the years there will be a wider number of clubs in what are called Rotary Community Groups - in our case this will consist of 14 clubs mainly from the Boroondara Council area. Also, instead of having an Assistant Governor we will have a Rotary Community Leader (RCL). Our RCL will be Michael Stilwell, husband of our own Jill Woinarski and also a member of RC Kew The RC Camberwell Arts Show is coming up soon and will start with a Gala opening on June 21st - the show runs from June 22nd to 30th Who among us are train and engineering enthusiasts? RC Balwyn has put out a call for help with the running of their project - The Box Hill Miniature Steam Rail. Details below if you wish to find out more and support this venture Don't forget next weeks meeting - Some may have seen Hard Quiz... well let's see how Pres Tony manages when faced by Tony L. and gets a grilling! No not really but its member behind the badge time and all a bit of fun Also advice of a change of speaker for June 24th. Unfortunately, our planned speaker has to defer to a later date due to a family illness. Not to worry though. We will have our own Rob Anderson who will present on a new project - Food Waste and recuycling. Something which our club can certainly be involved in within the City of Boroondara. More details in next weeks bulletin
